For Elise
Why, why in the hell it is so much more comlex to play the same tunes on trumpet compared to piano?
I spent almost an hour (including warm-up though, which took probably 20-30 minutes) today to acceptibly play first part of the “For Elise”, which is played in the beginning by the right hand on the piano? One hour for 9 notes on the trumpet, while maybe several minutes to do the same on the piano?
I even played that non-transposed and only tried next part (for the right hand on the piano only), which starts from the C1, for me it is rather hard to jump about the whole octave in the same music: lips do not respond that quickly.
Also tried to play it transposed, but I do not know fingering for those high notes and thus can not quickly transpose there, but I think I could do it more easily below trumpet’s 2F.
