Trumpeting in C
Trying to continue morning exercises playing my C trumpet. I think progress somewhat stalled, at least I do not observe some huge leaps like what I have with climbing. But overall it is quite stable at playing technique, but this level requires quite a bit of warming. So I think further progress in this area will be related to how easily I can start playing and how high or low I can get into. So far playing at least some tones higher than 2F or lower 1C requires a warmup.
Another direction is to improve ear for music. I play intervals from 2C down to 1C and vice versa trying to memorize the sounds, also recently started to play in parallel with some other music. Sometimes my playing fits several tones, which I consider a small win. The goal here is to easily play ‘in parallel’ just by listening music couple of times or even once. Quite far goal I think, but who knows.
